OPPORTUNITY:

Our client is now seeking a driven Area Sales Manager to take over the South West & Wales region.

This is a high-performing patch already exceeding target, with a mix of well-established key accounts and exciting potential for further growth. You’ll inherit strong relationships and have all the tools, training, and technical support needed to hit the ground running.

ROLE:

As an Area Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing and managing sales of a high-performance range of premium building products and systems. You’ll work closely with:

Architects, housebuilders, contractors, and local authorities to secure specifications and projects.

Merchants and distributors to strengthen product availability and regional reach.

This is a consultative, solution-based sales role, focused on helping customers achieve compliance, performance, and sustainability targets through the right product choices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage and grow sales within the South West & Wales territory.

Maintain and develop key accounts while identifying new business opportunities.

Present and promote a full range of technical systems to architects and specifiers.

Deliver CPDs, site visits, and product demonstrations as required.

Collaborate closely with internal design and technical teams to provide tailored solutions.

Build strong partnerships with merchant and distribution partners to drive growth.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

Proven experience in construction product sales, ideally within roofing, insulation, ventilation, or building envelope systems.

Background in commercial or specification sales, creating demand through architects, contractors, or developers.

A consultative, solution-driven approach with strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Ambitious, self-motivated, and eager to grow your territory within a respected manufacturer.
